When selecting a plant, the archive/remove button is located in the bottom left corner of the screen (red button). 

On the main screen of Garden+, you can select the archive icon to see your current list of archived plants. 

From the archive menu, you have the ability to see your full list of archived plants or add an archived plant back to the garden.
